Closest margin on the ballot

Four votes separate the seventh and eighth place finishers in the St. Thomas / St. John legislative race. Joel S Browne Connors holds the final advancing position with 1,393 votes. Peter Bailey trails with 1,389.

A margin this narrow is not settled by an 8:46 PM report. Absentee, provisional, and any remaining ballots are counted during the canvass, and the order can change. VIIQ will post an updated figure when ESVI releases one, with a visible correction notice if these numbers move.
