Donna Frett-Gregory is a former Senate President and the third woman in USVI history to lead the Legislature. Born and raised in St. Thomas, she brings over 30 years of public financial and executive experience across the legislative and executive branches. She did not seek re-election to the Senate in 2024, leaving office in January 2025 before entering the 2026 governor's race in April 2026.

Rodney Moorehead is a St. Croix educator who has served as teacher, assistant principal, and principal across the St. Croix school district. He currently serves as principal of St. Croix Educational Complex High School and as president of the St. Croix Educational Administrators' Association. At their campaign launch, Moorehead cited healthcare and infrastructure as key priorities.
